The book ‘Historiography of Khiva Khanate’ has been published by co-authors Sh. Matyakubov, Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) and F. Zhumaniyazova, Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences (PhD) of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Khorezm Academy of Ma'mun. It tells about historical events of XVII - XIX centuries and the beginning of XX century on the territory of Khiva khanate, covered by Khiva khan Abulgazi Bahadirkhan, his descendants and outstanding figures of Khorezm historiography, who created in those times, poet, historian and translator Shermuhammad Munis, his contemporary and close relative Muhammad Riza Agahi, unique historical works by historian and translator Muhammad Yusuf Bayoni, covering the history of the Khiva Khanate and khans, as well as through articles published by the authors in domestic and foreign editions.

The monograph is of great importance in covering the history of Khorezm, which is considered an integral part of the history of Uzbekistan, and is intended for a wide range of readers interested in our glorious history.
