Second USA-Uzbekistan Conference on Analysis and Mathematical Physics

21-07-2017     Conference

About the Conference

The second USA-Uzbekistan Conference on Analysis and Mathematical Physics will be held on August 8-12, 2017 at Urgench State University (Uzbekistan). The conference aims to stimulate interactions among the U.S. mathematicians and their counterparts in Uzbekistan and other countries, and serve as a catalyst for future collaborations. It will center on the following main themes: algebra and functional analysis, dynamical systems, mathematical physics and partial differential equations, probability theory and mathematical statistics, and pluripotential theory. A number of significant results have recently been established in these areas, which will be disseminated through the scheduled plenary talks. Parallel sessions will allow for the presentation of a broad spectrum of results in the area through the scheduled invited talks. Poster presentations will afford more junior mathematicians and students the opportunity to speak on their work.

Schedule of Talks

  1. Plenary Talks
  2. Special Session Talks
    1. Algebra and Functional Analysis
    2. Dynamical Systems
    3. Mathematical Physics and Partial Differential Equations
    4. Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics
    5. Pluripotential Theory
    6. Analysis on Metric Spaces

On August 12, the plenary talks of the conference will be held in the conference hall of Khorezm Mamun academy. Talks of Abdulla Azamov (Institute of Mathematics, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, Uzbekistan) on the subject “On approximate solving with high precision for quadratic systems and fractals” and Leonid Bunimovich (Georgia Institute of Technology, USA) on the subject “Cross-immunoreactivity Generates Local Immunodeficiency” are scheduled for the day.
