In order to study the rich scientific heritage of the Khorezm Academy of Mamunfullly, which has made a significant contribution to the development of the world civilization, education of a sense of national prideforthe young generation and deep respect for the historical past of our country, as well as ensuring the celebration at the high organizational level of the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun, the Cabinet of Ministers resolves:

1. 1. To take into consideration that the 32nd session of the General Conference of UNESCO decided to participate in the jubilee celebrations of the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun.
2. 2. To approve the composition of the Republic Organizing Committee for the preparation for the celebration and arranging the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun as well as the program of activities in accordance with Appendices #1 and #2;

The organizing committee (Sh.M. Mirziyoyev) to ensure the implementation of a set of measures for the preparation and arranging the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun in accordance with Appendix No. 2.

3. 3. The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Center "ManaviyatvaMarifat", the “Ibn Sino” and “Oltinmeros” Funds, the KhokimiatAdministration of Khorezm region to provide organizational arrangements for the international scientific Conference on the theme: "Khorezm Academy of Mamun and its place in the development of world science".
4. The Khokimiat of the Khorezm region, together with the interested ministries, departments, public organizations and foundations, to implement the activities planned in the cities of Urgench and Khiva, in the framework of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun.
5. National company "Uzbektourism" to provide wide advertising and propaganda of the historical contribution of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun to the development of the world civilization.
6. The Uzbek Agency for Press and Information, the Television and Radio Company, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, the mass media to widely broadcast the course of preparation and holding of the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Khorezm Academy of Mamunon television and in the press.
7. The control over the implementation of this resolution shall be entrusted to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. M.Mirziyoyev.
