On February 22, 2022, at the initiative of the Khorezm Academy of Mamun, a literary evening was held dedicated to the 74th anniversary of Matnazar Abdulkhakim. The literary evening was attended by scientists from the Mamun Khorezm Academy, professors and magisters of the Urgench State University, researchers from the Ichan Kala Museum-Reserve, students, schoolchildren, a group of the poet's contemporaries: artists, poets and the poet's children - Muzaffar Abdukhakimov and Latofat Abdukhakimova. The literary evening was opened by the chairman of the Mamun Academy Ikrom Abdullayev, who emphasized the need to perpetuate the memory of the scientist, poet, translator Matnazar Abdulkhakim, popularize his work, bring his works to the world stage. After that, a number of scientists, artists, masters and students, such as A.Urazbaev, S.Kurbanov, O.Ismailov, K.Khudoyberganov, D.Yusupov, M.Abdullaev, R.Makhmudov spoke and expressed their memories of Matnazar Abdulkhakim, commented translated works of the scientist, poems, read excerpts from his works. During the literary evening, songs to the verses of Matnazar Abdulhakim were performed. An exhibition dedicated to Matnazar Abdulhakim was also organized at the Mamun Academy. The exhibition featured books written by the poet, poems written by the poet himself, awards, items belonging to the poet's personal library. At the end of the event, the Koran was read in memory of Matnazar Abdulhakim.
