At the initiative of the chairman of the Khorezm Mamun Academy I.Abdullayev, the head of the A-FA-2019-9 grant - “Study of ancient written unique manuscripts and sources, the creation of their digitized library” A.Urazbaev and the head of the department of social and humanitarian sciences R.Makhmudov signed a memorandum on cooperation with the museum-reserve "Ichan-Kala". On the basis of a memorandum of cooperation, a group of scientists from the Khorezm Academy of Mamun began digitizing rare manuscripts in the fund of the museum-reserve using a special scanner. The manuscript fund of the museum-reserve is located in the Arab Muhammadkhan madrasah, and the leadership of the academy and the staff of the fund have created all the conditions for scientists. There are more than 400 unique manuscripts in the fund. Thanks to the work of scientists, they will be placed on the electronic site of the grant in a form convenient for our people.
