The first meeting of representatives from Asia and Oceania was held by the Women's Committee of the International Mathematical Association on June 25-26, 2021. The meeting was attended by the representative of the Women's Committee of the International Mathematical Union in Uzbekistan and the coordinator of the European Society of Women Mathematicians in Uzbekistan, head of the department of exact sciences of the Khorezm Academy Mamun, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Baltaeva Umida Ismailovna. The issues of expanding cooperation between women mathematicians of Asia and Oceania were discussed at the meeting. In this regard, Umida Ismailovna suggested organizing special thematic scientific seminars and master classes for women from Asia and Oceania to strengthen cooperation. She emphasized the importance of organizing scientific seminars in certain areas of science, developing the scientific work of women researchers for these countries, which cover a large audience. The scientist also said that this will serve to forge partnerships, joint research projects and increase the volume of scientific articles in high-level publications.
