Accurately and fully reflect the long-term struggle for freedom, freedom and independence of our country, perpetuate the memory of our Khorezm compatriots who died in the struggle for independence, strengthen love for the Motherland, commitment to independence Rakhmanova Yulduzkhon Madirimovna, Head of the Department of Social and Human Sciences of the Mamun Academy, Candidate of Historical Sciences Awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The first director of the museum, Y. Rakhmanova, organized scientific and ethnographic expeditions around the region and in a short time was able to collect more than 2000 documents, exhibits and other materials for the museum.

She is currently conducting an in-depth study of the legacy of the victims of repression, approved by Presidential Decree No. F-5598, organizing work to perpetuate their memory and identify their names. In addition, she promotes the courage and exemplary work of our devoted ancestors, and under her leadership, the Khorezm region is preparing to publish a book in memory of "Victims of repression".
