A new book was published under the co-authorship of Nizamiy Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, professor Almaz Ulviy, doctor of philology, and senior researcher of Khorezm Ma'mun Academy, doctor of philosophy in history Umid Bekmuhammadlar.
The book published by "Agohi" publishing house in Urganch is called "Maqsud Sheikhzadeh and his drama "Jalaluddin Manguberdi". The work tells about the friendly relations between the Azerbaijani and Uzbek peoples, the details of Maqsud Sheikhzoda's arrival to Uzbekistan from the brotherly land of Azerbaijan, his works in the world of creativity and science, including the reasons, events and the process of writing the drama "Jalaluddin Manguberdi".
The book also discusses the staging of the drama, the confessions of mature actors and art critics, the imprisonment of Sheikhzadeh during the repressive policy of the 1950s, and the artistic and scientific works he created after his release.
