According to the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during his visit to Khorezm region on March 12-13, 2020 and to the report № 17 of the extended meeting, appendix 1.3 of paragraph 9, it was assigned to plant and produce the new, promising cotton variety “Niyat”, created by the scientists of Khorezm Mamun academy, as a test in 1 200 ha in Tuproqqala massive of the new originated Tuproqqala district of Khorezm region. Therefore, in April 2020, a new promising variety of cotton “Niyat” was planted on more than 1 000 hectares in Tupraqqala district. Due to the adaptation of the variety to local climatic conditions and the timely implementation of agro-technical measures during the growing season, a rich harvest was achieved.

Valuable economic characters and technological quality indicators of the harvest, produced in 2020, were analyzed in the Khorezm regional quality laboratory, together with the head of the Khorezm regional department of the Center for Seed Development and the authors of the variety. As a result of the implementation of the variety “Niyat” in Tupraqqala district, farms in this area were the first in the region to fulfill the contract. Positive conclusions were received from the relevant organizations.
