On November 11, 2017, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, the Ministry of Culture, the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan a scientific conference  was held on the theme “Prospects of development of Khiva in Khorezm  Mamun  Academy according to the decision dated April 14, 2017 “On additional measures to further development and improvement  of Khorezm Mamun Academy" collaborating with  Scientific and Practical Center for Ideology, Republican Spirituality and Enlightenment Center, Khorezm Regional Khokimiyats, creative intellectuals, artists, women's and youth organizations. Hokim of Khorezm region I.Sobirov, Mayor of Khiva E.Okubov, Hero of Uzbekistan V.B.Pak, Hero of Uzbekistan G.Hujaniyazov, Heads of regional higher educational institutions, as well as prominent scientists, artists, youth, trade union representatives. The conference was held at a high academic level, rich in dialogue and live communication.

The second half of the day continued in a bowl of tea. Winners of the "Best lecture" competition and veterans  were honored  by the Academy.

Conference materials have been published. The collection consists of 182 pages. It contains about 60 scientific articles also listed congratulations of the khakim (mayor)  of the region I. Sobirov, president of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan B. Yuldashev.

The conference made a great impression on the participants. The conference was widely covered by the regional media.
