On September 19-20, 2024, the Republican scientific-practical conference on “Modern researches on natural sciences and integration of science in Uzbekistan” was held at Khorezm Mamun Academy. This conference was held on the basis of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is of great importance for natural sciences, teaching it and production industry.
In the action strategy for the further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, special tasks have been defined for “stimulating scientific research and innovation activities, creating effective mechanisms for the implementation of scientific and innovation achievements”. On August 12, 2020, Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №RP-4805 “On measures to increase the quality of continuous education and the effectiveness of science in the fields of chemistry and biology” was adopted. This decision was set among the priority tasks of developing natural sciences in our country, increasing the quality of education and the effectiveness of science in these areas. There is no doubt that the conclusions of this conference will serve to a certain extent in the implementation of tasks related to this activity and defined in other regulatory legal documents.
Representatives of various universities and scientific research centers of our country, scientists and specialists participated in the conference. The main goal of the event was to discuss the development of natural sciences in Uzbekistan, their integration with modern research, and current problems in this field.
Speakers at the conference presented reports on achievements in the field of science and technology, innovative solutions, and opportunities for international cooperation. Ways to create new opportunities for young researchers and increase the contribution of natural sciences to the development of the economy and society were also considered.
In short, the conference was filled with high spirits, interesting questions and answers, debates, furthermore, students, young learners, and interested researchers took part in it and got answers to the questions they were interested in.
